Tasting 24 samples totally blind in December 2020, you can find more here. All notes except the very last few sentences are written before reveal. Disclaimer: These are all very small drams, around 1.5 cl each, so doing a proper tasting is challenging. I'll do my best!
0.2 (Pale straw)
Nose
Warm spices, peppery, honey, alcoholic burn, pears. Young?
Palate
White wine, more spice, toffee, vanilla
Finish
Tropical fruits, spice (see the pattern here?). Medium length.
Interesting, but a bit too heavy on the spice. It's probably young.
Guess: 50%, some sherry, about 8 years old.
Reveal: Aha! The NAS variant of Timorous Beastie. I've tried a couple of others, this was quite different from those.
