Tasting 24 samples totally blind in December 2020, you can find more here. All notes except the very last few sentences are written before reveal. Disclaimer: These are all very small drams, around 1.5-2 cl each, so doing a proper tasting is challenging. I'll do my best!
1.0 (Deep copper)
Nose
Light, fruity, peppery, a little herbal. Sweet overall.
Palate
Round, plain, sweet.
Finish
Wine-y, more pepper, a significant alcoholic taste. Vanilla, honey.
A quiet and frankly quite thin whisky, with that ethanol taste that almost makes me think it could be a blended. Some sweetness but not enough to carry it. Guess: 40% and young.
Reveal: Oops, there you have it. A good 10 points lower than the last time I reviewed it, but that time wasn't blind. I think I agree with myself that it's on the thin side, but I certainly appreciated the sweetness more last time.
