Nose
Brine, wood. Not oaky, but certainly an "old wood" kind of aroma. Apricots and marmalade, oranges, some tropical fruits, tobacco.
Palate
Oily, but not very thick.
Finish
Starts towards a big spice explosion but stops before reaching its would-be peak. Soft, tightly integrated and long. Enjoyed every second of it.
Starting from the end - amazing finish and just what you'd expect. Palate - huh? Not really much to say there. Quiet? Almost watery. Really good nose.
To fully appreciate this I think it helps knowing what it is. Gotta be in the mood. Not close to being worth the hefty price tag.
