I'm adding a few older reviews from before I built this site, this was actually reviewed October 1, 2017. Bottled for Svenska Whiskyförbundet (The Swedish Whisky Association), a parent organization for a lot of smaller whisky clubs in Sweden
Pale gold
Nose
Light and fruity. Not much going on.
Palate
Some fruit, a little malty. A very small hint of sherry.
Finish
Starts out with oak and a glint of apples, but quickly gives way to lingering peppery spices.
A pretty average dram without a whole lot going on. Not very interesting. I didn't particularly care for the rather short and peppery finish, while the nose and palate were pleasant albeit uneventful. I had to look twice to find the sherry. An okay whisky that I'd happily drink, but not something I would actively seek out.
